U-20 AFCON Who are the players to watch out for in Ladan Bosso's Flying Eagles?
Nigeria will play its first match against Senegal, on the opening day of the tournament.
All is almost set for Nigeria's under-20 men's team: the Flying Eagles, to attempt to yet again, win the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations scheduled for February 19 to March 11, 2023.
Nigeria go into the competition as the most successful nation, having been crowned champions seven times with the first in 1983 and the most recent in 2015.
On Sunday, the Flying Eagles will play their opening match in the 2023 tournament at the Cairo International Stadium against Senegal's Young Teranga Lions.

But what players are set to dazzle?
Players to watch out for in Nigeria's U-20 team
19-year-old Ibrahim Beji Muhammadsignificantly influenced the Flying Eagles' qualification for the U-20 AFCON. The pacy left-footed winger who plays for Cartegena FC in Spain's second division, was critical to Ladan Bosso's side victory in the WAFU B championship, as he scored important goals against Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Benin Republic.
Another talent to keep an eye out for is 16-year-old Daniel Daga. The tireless defensive midfielder who plays in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) for Dakkada, has a knack for long-range goals.
